If your heat pump or central air conditioning air handler and interior evaporator coils is located in the attic, you should have two condensation lines draining the system. One leaves the coils and goes to ground; the secondary line, running from the overflow pan, should empty in a location you are likely to see it … like over the kitchen window. If the secondary line is dripping, it means your primary line is no longer functioning, and that could spell trouble. It needs to be addressed right away. Do you know where your secondary line drains?
